A Roadmap for Progress and Development: My Vision for Telangana

As the President of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Research Department in Telangana, my vision is to create a roadmap that prioritizes youth empowerment, economic growth, education, healthcare, and governance. By focusing on these core areas, we can ensure sustainable progress and inclusive development for all.
1. Empowering Youth: The Key to a Stronger Telangana
The youth of Telangana are its biggest asset. To harness their potential, we must:
• Create More Job Opportunities: Promote skill-based education and vocational training programs.
• Encourage Startups & Entrepreneurship: Offer financial support and mentorship programs to young entrepreneurs.
• Enhance Political Awareness: Encourage youth participation in decision-making and governance.
By investing in the youth, we are investing in the future of Telangana.
2. Strengthening the Education System
Education is the foundation of any progressive society. My vision includes:
• Upgrading Government Schools & Colleges: Better infrastructure, trained teachers, and modern teaching methods.
• Affordable Higher Education: Scholarships and financial aid for deserving students.
• Industry-Academia Collaboration: Ensuring students are equipped with job-ready skills.
A strong education system will enable the next generation to compete on a global level.
3. Boosting Economic Growth & Employment
Economic stability is essential for long-term progress. To accelerate growth, we must:
• Develop Smart Cities: Focus on sustainable infrastructure and digital transformation.
• Promote Local Businesses & Industries: Strengthen MSMEs and the manufacturing sector.
• Encourage Foreign Investments: Create policies that attract investors to Telangana.
A strong economy means better livelihoods and a better quality of life for the people.
4. Revolutionizing Healthcare for All
Healthcare should be accessible and affordable for every citizen. My proposed initiatives include:
• Strengthening Public Healthcare Facilities: Expanding hospitals, equipping them with modern technology.
• Affordable Medicines & Treatments: Implementing policies to lower medical costs.
• Awareness & Prevention Programs: Educating people on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
As a pharmacist, I understand the gaps in the healthcare system and will work towards making Telangana a leader in public health.
5. Good Governance & Transparency
For a state to progress, governance must be efficient, transparent, and people-centric. My approach to governance includes:
• Digital Governance: Promoting e-Governance for transparency and efficiency.
• Anti-Corruption Measures: Strengthening laws and ensuring strict accountability.
• People-First Policies: Prioritizing policies that directly benefit citizens.
